It is very easy to be impatient with children. Most of the time, they are doing something that you don’t want them to do. They have wrong attitudes, behavior, actions, and a lot more. This means that they have a lot of learning to do. Don’t allow your impatience get to your children of you might be teaching them negative things instead of good things; if you let your impatience get a hold on your then you can say and do hurtful words or actions and have your children end up hurt, broken discouraged, feel bad about themselves, and other negative feelings. Give them time to learn and grow up. Consistency in patience should be cultivated. If you feel impatience busting from your insides, then stay away for awhile until you have calmed down and recovered. After this, go back and start over.
Your children time should be away from distractions. Fun activities cannot be done with your phone always on your ears or if you are doing something else. Play with your children, talk sense or nonsense with them, watch the latest flick online, or just stay in bed with them on the weekends. This will help you get close to them as long as there is no competition.
There should be punishment for bad behavior and praise for good ones. This way you are teaching them that right things are good things and wrong things are hurtful things. And they will grow up bringing with them this lesson.
